My Journey as an Educator
I’ve been helping students succeed through one-on-one tutoring and classroom teaching since 2001. With over 20 years of experience in elementary and middle school education, I specialize in providing personalized instruction that meets the unique needs of every learner.
I’ve taught across all grade levels in both in-person classrooms and online learning environments, which has given me a strong foundation in differentiated instruction, academic intervention, and student-centered teaching strategies.
My passion for education drives me to constantly improve and expand my skills. I hold three graduate degrees in:

My Desire to Do More
Although I loved being a classroom teacher, after more than 20 years in education, I knew it was time to take my passion in a new direction. I wanted to use my teaching experience in a more flexible and impactful way—one that allowed me to reach more students and empower other educators to do the same.
That vision led to the creation of Unlocking Potential Educational Services, founded to support both students and teachers in achieving their goals.
Today, I work with students worldwide through online tutoring, virtual classes, and independent study programs. I also mentor educators by helping them start and grow their own teaching businesses, combining my years of experience with actionable support and professional insight.
A Leap of Confidence
Unlocking Potential Educational Services, LLC was founded in 2016 with a mission to provide high-quality, personalized education to students of all backgrounds. Since launching, I’ve had the privilege of designing and teaching customized classes in math, reading, and writing for small groups, learning pods, and through one-on-one tutoring sessions—both in person and online.
I also offer independent study courses tailored to each student’s individual learning style, helping them thrive at their own pace.
With experience across multiple grade levels, I’m passionate about using creative, engaging, and student-centered teaching strategies that make learning both effective and fun. One of my greatest passions is multi-sensory math instruction, which supports deeper understanding through hands-on activities, visual tools, and interactive techniques.
As a lifelong learner, I continually pursue professional development to expand my skills and deliver impactful instruction that meets the evolving needs of today’s learners.
